SEVEN CLOTHING CO SURF TRIP TO BAJA LIGHT HOUSE MXBy Seven Clothing Co. | Comments: 0 | October 8, 2018
At the beginning of September the Seven Clothing Co crew took a surf trip down to Punta San Jose Mexico to this incredible place on the edge of giant cliffs called The Lighthouse. Desolate beaches, endless surf, pure solitude and peace and to top it off one of the best views of the stars you could ask for.
We started our journey Friday night and of course had to stop on the way down for some of those incredible tacos.
The ride took us about four and a half hours south of the border.
It’s a beautiful drive that overlooks the coast, the part that takes the longest is the crazy dirt road that your have to take to get to the Lighthouse. It’s about an hour of straight driving up and down hills, banks, bumps and tiny bridges. Once you come over the mountain it opens up to the cliffs and tiny fishing village where the destination lies. By the time we got their it was almost like 2am so we set up camp and passed out.
We woke up to amazing surf and a beautiful day. The water temperature down there is usually pretty chilly but it was 70 degrees and the sun was out so we got to trunk it during the afternoons. The next few days was all surfing, bbqing, relaxing, camp fires, good beer and good tunes.
If your ever looking to go to a sweet spot down in Baja we highly suggest it.
The Seven Clothing Co crew will definitely be back next year!
